Hard to believe that we are already on day 4. Lauryn had a busy day...she climbed stairs, walked, changed into her own clothes, ate real food (Cesar salad - her favourite), had all her wires and tubes disconnected, and started meds in pill form. She now takes Tylenol every 4 hours and morphine every 6 hours.
We want to thank everyone for all the phone calls, visits, cards, gifts, flowers, food and everything else. We are well taken care of by our many friends. Lauryn wants to tell you sorry if she can't talk much when you call or visit .... I'm sure she will make up for it in the future. : )
