Post Op - Day 3

Today started out pretty tough. Lauryn's O2 levels were low in the night, so that means bells are going off, and little sleep is to be had. Finally around 4 am, she was given oxygen and fell off to sleep. Yay!!  Physio came at 11 am and she walked down the hall. She has a bit of something on the right lung, so she has to use a PEP every  2 hours to clear the lungs and get rid of a little fever. Her catheter was removed and her morphine was cut way back and she seemed to feel more awake after that - she even went on the computer for a few minutes.  This evening we have an assignment - she has to walk all the way down the hallway. So... I'll let you know tomorrow how that goes!!!  
 The best news today is that we saw her new xray and we're impressed!!  
 She is so straight!! You'll have to see for yourself below.....
