One Week To Go!!!!!!!

I have one week to go before my surgery. I am getting nervous. I have been doing things that I won't be able to do for awhile after my surgery.

                            It should read "10 more days UNTIL my surgery".........



Last night my cousins and I had a sleepover.  My parents bought me a cake and we watched a movie. It was a fun night.

Last week on Monday was my pre-op appointment at the IWK.  It was LONG - from 9:30 till 4:30, but I was able to meet my surgeon, the pain team, the anesthesiologist, the physiotherapist, the fun girl who organizes things to do, had blood tests, xrays, breathing tests, pictures taken of my back, and had a tour of the Ronald McDonald waiting room (for my parents) and a tour of the floor that I will be on after the surgery.  The rooms look pretty good - I will have one to myself, and it has a mini-fridge, a TV, VCR and an xbox in it.  There also is Internet access.  My mom will be updating this blog while we are there. Hopefully it won't take me too long before I feel up to using those things. I will probably be in the hospital  for a week.  I am not looking forward to the 4 hour car ride home!!!!    OUCH!!
